This is a beautiful example of Stangl's 7 inch Tropical Ware vase with applied curlicues. The embellishment is covered with a dripping blue glaze against the vases semigloss deep purple, or eggplant, background. The bottom of the vase is impressed with the company name, Stangl, and the shape number, which in this instance is 2024 – 7". This vase was available in a variety of colors, but the deep purple variation seems to be the most sought after.
