Antique bronze porthole

This magnificent antique porthole was manufactured by the John Roby, LTD brass foundry in Rainhill (Liverpool England). The company operated from the 1850s to 1973. The John Roby company filled orders during the construction of the Titanic and outfitted many of their portholes. In this example we have a three dog covered porthole. This is a colossal piece measures over 16 inches across and weighs over 60 pounds!
This can be found in our antiques mall in Fort Myers Florida.
